Franklin, MA- The Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation is pleased to announce the 2026 schedule for the men's volleyball program. The team will be competing in its sixth full-time season in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
The Bulldogs will be competing in a total of 22 matches this season. This includes an even split of eight home dates and eight road dates. The fun begins inside Pieri Gymnasium on Saturday, January 17
th. The team will open with a tri-match again Regis College (non-conference) and Vermont State University-Johnson. The Bulldogs will look to beat the Badgers once again after splitting the two-game series last year.
Including opening day, Dean will compete in six total tri-matches this season. They will host one more tri-match on Saturday, February 14
th, versus King's College (PA) and Curry College. Dean will also travel to Curry for another tri-match on Saturday, March 14
th with SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
Dean will also face a brand-new men's volleyball program in Hartwick College. They will travel to the Hawks on February 27
th in another tri-match with SUNY Poly.
The Bulldogs will play in seven GNAC matches this season. Their conference calendar opens at home on Tuesday, March 3
rd against Lasell University.
Dean will once again host the defending conference champions, Wentworth Institute of Technology, on Tuesday March 24
th. The Leopards ranked #11 nationally at the end of last season and are searching to defend their title.
Men's volleyball wraps up the regular season on Saturday, April 4
th, at Rivier University.
Should they earn a birth in the GNAC postseason, the first round of the tournament begins on Tuesday, April 7
th. The winners of the opening rounds will play the #1 and #2 seeds on Thursday, April 9
th. The final two teams will play for the GNAC title and an NCAA Tournament automatic qualifier spot on Saturday, April 11
th.
