Greenwood, IN- College Sports Communicators has announced that two Dean College Women's Volleyball athletes have been named to the Academic All-District© roster. Those athletes are
Skylar Raskevitz (Easthampton, MA) and Madeline Bell (New Milford, CT).
Raskevitz officially earns her second nod on the Academic All-District© nod. She now becomes just the second player in program history to make it on multiple occasions. She joins Assistant Coach & alumnus,
Bella Driscoll.
Meanwhile, Bell makes the roster for the first time in her career. The sophomore appeared in all 23 matches for the Bulldogs this season, posting 146 DIGs and over 20 service aces.
This is the third time in four seasons that the Dean Women's Volleyball program has earned a spot on the coveted All-District© roster. They earned two spots in 2023, preceded by four spots in 2022.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 66 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
