Box Score 2 PROVIDENCE, R.I. – October 2, 2021– The Dean College women's volleyball team earned a split at Saturday's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match hosted by Johnson & Wales. The Bulldogs fell to the host Wildcats 3-0 but ended the afternoon with a 3-0 sweep of Anna Maria.
Dean goes to 2-10 overall and is now 1-3 in the GNAC. The Bulldogs will return to Pieri Gymnasium to host Mass. Maritime on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Sari Albury (Nassau, Bahamas) led the Dean attack with four kills on .429 hitting. Sophomore Annabella Driscoll (Plymouth, Mass.) posted six assists and four digs.
Isabella Alfonso paced the Wildcats with eight kills. Tiah Scott hit .750 with six kills and no errors, while Masina Tupea killed all six of her attacks.

Janai Price (Providence, R.I.) led all players with 10 kills to go with five digs, three assists and two blocks. First-year
Emily Larouche (Agawam, Mass.) was second on the Bulldogs with eight kills. Driscoll added 21 assists to her daily total. Senior
Amanda Payne (Millis, Mass.) had a team best 12 digs, while sophomore
Hope Laiter (Riverside, R.I.) contributed nine digs, eight aces and four kills.
Anna Maria received seven kills from Ryann Hassett and Julia Rutkowski. Julia Tarantino hit .333 to finish with five kills to go with 15 assists and 10 digs.
