- The Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead in set two off a service ace from Emma Siniscalchi (Huntington, N.Y.) and two kills from junior Maddy Seymour (Simsbury, Conn.). Back and forth action ensued throughout the set, and a block from Murphy helped Dean close the gap to 21-20 late in the frame. Lasell responded, scoring the final four points to take the second game 2-0.
- The third set was again tightly contested, with Dean tying the set at 9 and trimming the lead to 15-13 on back-to-back kills from Seymour and junior Angelina Steiger (Oxford, Mass.). Lasell took control over the final portion of the match, outscoring Dean 10-5 down the stretch to seal the victory.
