NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Dean College women's volleyball team was swept in their Saturday tri-match, falling to Framingham State University and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Colby-Sawyer College by final scores of 3-0. With the pair of losses, the Bulldogs dropped to 1-14 overall (1-5 GNAC).
MATCH ONE: Colby-Sawyer College 3, Dean College 0 (25-16 / 25-14 / 25-23)

Maddy Seymour (Simsbury, Conn.) led the Bulldogs with 11 kills and added two aces and four digs.
Angelina Steiger (Oxford, Mass.) contributed seven kills, while
Valeria Cabezas (Navarre, Fla.) finished with three kills and three digs.

Emma Siniscalchi (Huntington, N.Y.) paced the Dean offense with 13 assists, with
Lily Miller (Cape Cod, Mass.) adding nine assists and an ace.
Julia Dommel (Beacon Falls, Conn.) led the Bulldogs defensively with 11 digs.
-Dean finished with 28 kills, four aces and 26 digs, while Colby-Sawyer recorded 36 kills, nine aces and 38 digs. The Bulldogs battled back in the third set with 11 kills but were unable to extend the match.
MATCH TWO: Framingham State University 3, Dean College 0 (25-11 / 25-16 / 25-15)
-In the final match of their afternoon, Steiger led the Bulldogs with five kills, while
Chloe Demaio (Needham, Mass.) and
Ali Murphy (Middleboro, Mass.) added four kills apiece. Demaio also contributed two blocks.
-Siniscalchi recorded eight assists and two aces, with Miller adding seven assists and an ace. Dommel continued to contribute defensively with nine digs, while Seymour added six digs.
-Dean finished with 20 kills, four aces, three blocks and 32 digs. The Bulldogs battled in the third set, recording eight kills while hitting .286, but Framingham State closed out the match.
