Winthrop, MA- In the latest preseason poll for the 2026 season, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has projected the Dean College Men's Volleyball team to finish in 8
th place, as voting by the conference's head coaches.
After a re-tooling season last year, the Men's Volleyball program is prepared to take the next step heading into 2026. The team is highlighted their trio of returning seniors:
Arthur Felicio (Saugus, Brazil),
Jerney Price (San Antonio, TX), and
Hunter Armitage (Westerly, RI). Both Felicio and Price will return as outside swingers, while Armitage will once again serve as the team's setter.
Libero
Mason Rua (São Pedro do Sul, Portugal) will also return for his second season with the Bulldogs. Rua had an impressive rookie campaign, recording the program's second-most DIGS by a rookie (182). He also ranked third amongst the GNAC in DIGs per set (2.30).
The Bulldogs will be joined by a versatile class of first-year players, hailing from across the New England Region.
During the 2026 season, Dean will be playing in a total of 22 matches. This includes six tri-match dates and seven conference contests. They kick-off the season with their first home tri-match on Saturday, January 17
th. They will host both Regis College (non-conference) and Vermont State University–Johnson.
This will be the sixth, full-time season in which the Bulldogs will compete in the GNAC.
