Franklin, MA- The Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation is pleased to recognize field hockey sophomore
Emma Gragen (Brattleboro, VT) and men's soccer freshman
Ayomide Talabi (Hamilton, NJ) as this week's Bulldogs of the Week.
Gragen is coming off one of the best weeks of her young career. In three games last week, Gragen produced a combined four goals, three assists, and eleven points. She also scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of field hockey's Friday match with Manhattanville.
In addition to her department honors, Gragen was also recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as this week's Offensive Player of the Week. This is the first time in her career she has earned a conference weekly honor.
For men's soccer, Ayo Talabi had another impressive week on offensive for the Bulldogs. In two appearances, Talabi scored one goal and two points vs. Curry College (9/3) and one shot versus Norwich (9/6). Talabi's goal vs. Curry was extremely crucial, tying the game in the 58
th minute to give Dean the lead.
In only four collegiate games, Talabi has already scored two goals and nearly five points. His first collegiate goal came on opening day versus Suffolk University, which will be resumed on September 30
th.
