Franklin, MA- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced that Dean College field hockey sophomore Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, NY) has earned Offensive Player of the Week Honors. This is the first time this season Yazzetti has earned a weekly award.

Yazzetti had a career-day in field hockey's season opener versus Nichols College. The sophomore posted seven total points, including two goals and three assists. She contributed to all five goals scored by the Bulldogs in their 5-2 victory.

The Mahopac, New York native is no stranger to the spotlight. Earlier last week, she was recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as a member of their Division III watch list.

In 2024, Yazzetti was a GNAC All-Conference selection, posting 33 points in her freshman campaign. She also picked up a GNAC Rookie of the Week and Player of the Week selection.
