Franklin, MA- The Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation is please to recognize Azaria Landry (Lacey, WA) of Women's Basketball and Xavier Rubio (San Diego, CA) of Men's Basketball as this week's Bulldogs of the Week.

Landry, grabbing her first weekly honors of the season, has quickly emerged as a premier scorer for the Bulldogs. In this week alone, Landry scored 18 and 21 points in each of the Bulldogs' victories. The 21 points on Sunday was her second-highest tally of the season.

In 10 games this year, Landry is already averaging over 16 points per game. She has also produced 16 steals and 35 total rebounds.

Meanwhile, Rubio is riding one of the best weeks of his collegiate career. The senior guard appeared in all three games for the Bulldogs this week. In that span, he scored a total of 31 points, an assist, and two steals.

During Saturday's victory over Bryant & Stratton College of Rochester, Rubio scored a career-high 17 points while shooting over 50 percent from beyond the arch. His performance earned him the department's Player of the Game honors.
