Franklin, MA- The Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation is please to recognize
Abigail Lacy (Arroyo Grande, CA) of Women's Basketball and
Christian Yeates (Atlanta, GA) of Men's Basketball as this week's Bulldogs of the Week.
Lacy earns her second Bulldog of the Week recognition after a stellar performance against Fisher College. The senior posted 34 points, along with nine rebounds (eight offensive), five steals, three assists, and a block.
This is Lacy's second performance this season in which she has scored 30 points or more. She scored a career-high 37 points on November 20
th at Worcester State University.
Lacy currently leads the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in points per game (20.6) and field goals per game (7.1-16.2).
Meanwhile, Yeates continues his dominance in the men's division after a pair of impressive performances. The senior guard produced 25 points and eight rebounds against Fisher College, followed by an additional 22 points against UMaine Fort Kent.
On the season, Yeates is averaging just under 19 points per game, ranking within the GNAC's top five in scoring. He also ranks amongst the conference's top five in three-point efficiency (48.9%).
