THE LEAD:
The Dean College offense erupted for a school-record nine goals led by the first career hat trick from Mackenzie Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) and the Bulldogs ended their regular season with a convincing 9-0 win over Mitchell College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Parisee put the hosts on the board in the 23rd minute when she scored her third marker of the season on the first career assist from Miranda Seacord (Cambridge, N.Y.).

A little more than a minute later, the Bulldogs found the back of the net again, this time it was Jane Boldrighini (Fairfield, Conn.) notching her first collegiate tally.

The Seacord-Parisee connection worked again at 26:48 and suddenly Dean was in front, 3-0.

Seacord recorded her first of the day a few minutes later with the help of Allison Buckley (Guilford, Vt.) and then Parisee closed out the first half scoring with her third of the afternoon at 37:38.

Dean kept the momentum going in the opening portion of the second half as Boldrighini scored her second of the day less than a minute into the period for a 6-0 Bulldog advantage.

Secord added another in the 57th minute and then Alison Nelson (Candia, N.H.) joined in on the fun with an unassisted score a little more than two minutes later.

Alexandra Palacios (Revere, Mass.) wrapped up the scoring with her first career goal at 87:29 with help from Jasmine Sztyler-Magee (Burlington, Conn.).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Dean held a 27-14 edge in overall shots and the Bulldog goalkeeping combination of Macy Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) and Jennifer Jacovino (Monroe, Conn.) collected eight saves to secure the shutout.
