SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The Puerto Rican Hockey Federation (Federación Puertorriqueña de Hockey) has announced that Dean College field hockey junior Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, N.Y.) has been named to their 2026 women's national team. The team will compete in the 2026 Cal Cup, located in Moorpark, California.

Yazzetti is the first player in program history to qualify for a team at the international level.

The junior adds another major milestone to her portfolio after a stellar 2025 campaign. In 24 games for the Bulldogs, including playoffs, Yazzetti posted 20 goals, 22 assists, and a career-high 62 total points. She also produced an impressive .555 shot on-goal percentage.

In the regular season and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament, Yazzetti led the nation at the Division III level in assists per game. She also ranked amongst the top ten in the nation, during the regular season, in goals scored.

With just two seasons under her belt, Yazzetti has already earned All-Conference distinction twice, including first-team honors this past season. She was also named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region roster.

In the postseason, Yazzetti was named to the 2025 GNAC All-Tournament Team and was named the postseason's Most Valuable Player.

To become a member of the national roster, players participated in a series of tryout events located at William & Mary University in Williamsburg, Virginia.
