SPARKS, Md. – After turning in the best statistical season of his career, USA Lacrosse Magazine has announced that Dean College men's lacrosse junior Manny Alvarez-Segee (Saugus, Mass.) has been named an NCAA Division III All-American Honorable Mention. This the first time that Alvarez-Segee has picked up All-America honors in his career.

The junior attackman rose to the occasion for the Bulldogs this season. In all 16 appearances, Alvarez-Segee totaled a career-high 61 goals, 36 assists, and 97 total points. This is a 31 percent increase from his totals in 2025 while playing in three less games.

Alvarez-Segee took his rightful place in program history, now sitting second all-time for points in a single season. Manny's brother, Diego Alvarez-Segee, holds the current record at 107 total points (2024).

For his efforts, Alvarez-Segee was named the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Offensive Player of the Year and was named to this year's GNAC All-Conference First Team. Additionally, Alvarez-Segee was named Dean Athletics' Butchie Williams '75 Male Athlete of the Year, symbolizing his impact on and off the field.

Along with conference recognition, Alvarez-Segee also ranked amongst the best in all of Division III. He finished the season fifth in points per game (6.12), 12^th in total points, and 12^th in goals scored.

In his career, Alvarez-Segee has accumulated over 150 goals, 83 assists, and 238 total points. He also has a career shot on-goal percentage (SOG%) of .645 and is on-pace to have the highest shot on-goal percentage in program history.

Originally from Saugus, Massachusetts, Alvarez-Segee was a three-time CCL All-Star with Bishop Fenwick High School. While leading the CCL in scoring, he was also a two-time Salem News All-Star and team captain for two seasons.
