FRANKLIN, Ma. – The Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation is pleased to announce the 2026 schedule for men's lacrosse. This will be the team's sixth season competing in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
The Bulldogs return to action in search of their fifth consecutive postseason appearance. They begin their quest with a five-game stretch at home. The team plays in a preseason scrimmage on February 6
th against Wheaton College. The regular season opener is set for Saturday, February 14
th, against Anna Maria College.
Dean will play three additional opponents before traveling to their first road game of the season. Thomas College and Maine Maritime Academy will travel to Grant Field on February 24
th and March 3
rd, respectively. Lasell University will also travel to Dean to open this season's conference schedule.
In total, The Bulldogs have nine regular season home games. Six of these are GNAC contests.
On the other hand, Dean will travel for seven road games this year. Their first away game is set for Saturday, March 7
th, against the defending GNAC champion Rivier University. The University of Saint Joseph will also host the Bulldogs on March 10
th.
The Bulldogs' first three GNAC opponents finished amongst the top five in the conference last season. Dean and Emmanuel College (Ma.) were the other two teams to finish in the top five in 2025.
The Bulldogs conclude the regular season on the road against Mitchell College on Tuesday, April 21
st.
Should the Bulldogs make the postseason, the GNAC quarterfinals are set for Saturday, April 25
th. The semi-finals are scheduled for Wednesday, April 29
th. The remaining two teams will play on Saturday, May 2
nd, for the GNAC title and an automatic qualifier into this year's NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championships.
