Winthrop, MA – The Dean College women's soccer team has been selected to finish in 12
th place in the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll, as voted by the conference's head coaches.
Heading into a fresh season, women's soccer is looking to build on the results of their 2024 campaign. Last season, the team picked up key victories against MCLA and Mitchell College. They also recorded three ties throughout the year.
The roster sees the return of several veteran playmakers. Senior
Lexi Gerow (Pownal, VT) will get the nod in goal for the Bulldogs, with standout junior
Danielle Reinhard (Las Vegas, NV) set to join her on staff. Australian defender
Miro McIntyre Clere (Sydney, AUS) also returns to the roster for her final year of competition.
Dean will open the season versus MCLA for the 2
nd consecutive season. They will then play seven consecutive matches at home, marking of their largest homestands in program history. Their first road match of the season falls on September 27
th at New England College.
In the 2025 season, women's soccer will play in a total of 12 GNAC contests. The GNAC calendar opens at home on September 13
th versus the University of Saint Joseph (CT). This year's senior day will also be a GANC contest. Saint Joseph's College of Maine comes to town on Tuesday, October 14
th.
Should Dean earn a postseason birth, the GNAC Quarterfinals are set to begin on Saturday, November 1
st. The semifinals will be played on November 5
th, with the winners of both matches square-dancing in the GNAC title game, set for November 8
th.
