THE LEAD:
Louis Piccolo
(Foxboro, Mass.) led 11 different goal scorers with four tallies and an assist and visiting Dean College raced past Thomas College, 16-5, in non-league men's lacrosse action on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to Piccolo's huge afternoon, Greg Centeio (Fairhaven, Mass.) added three goals of his own as the Bulldogs seized control of the contest early on and never looked back.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Dean scored the game's first five goals as Christian Billingsley (Saugus, Mass.) opened up the scoring less than three minutes into the contest and then Centeio got his first of the day to double the Bulldog advantage.

Piccolo was next on the board less than 20 seconds later and then Centeio added another before Piccolo provided the final goal of the period.

After a Thomas College goal from Matt Craig to start the second period, Dean ran off five straight goals as Kobe Welch-Porter (Leander, Texas), Piccolo, Tim Orozco (Milford, Conn.), Jameson Maillet (Lunenburg, Mass.) and Tyler Minor (Warwick, R.I.) all found the back of the net, pushing the Cardinal and White advantage to 10-1.

The offense continued to click in the third period as Centeio, Christopher Wendt (Boonton, N.J.), Matthew Pacheco (Warwick, R.I.), Trent Kellum (Barrington, R.I.) and finally Piccolo put the Bulldogs in front 15-2.

Brad Aubin (Glastonbury, Conn.) completed the Dean scoring with his first collegiate strike in the fourth quarter.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
A quartet of Bulldog goalkeepers – Alex Govoni (Lakeville, Mass.), James Rollins (Old Lyme, Conn.), Anthony List (Charlton, Mass.) and Andrew McKenna (North Palm Beach, Fla.) – only needed to record a combined eight saves to record the victory.

UP NEXT:
Dean is off until Tuesday, March 10 when they travel to Salem State for a 6:00 PM faceoff.
