THE LEAD:
Host Regis College swept the Dean College Bulldogs on Thursday, winning three sets (25-9, 25-19, and 25-23).  

The Bulldogs fell behind early in set one, trailing 14-4 en route to a 25-9 loss.

Dean once again fell behind in set two, but rallied to turn a 13-6 deficit into a 20-17 score late in the frame.  After the Bulldogs closed to 23-19, Regis capitalized on Bulldog errors to seal the game.

The final set was even out of the gate, and was tied eight times, including at 23.  Regis got the final two points on a Dean error and kill from Dimitri Stewart to seal the game and the match. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Tyler Martins (East Providence, R.I.) led the Bulldogs with 14 assists and four digs.  Aaron Brody (Webster, Mass.) had five kills on 16 attacks. John Kauffman (East Providence, R.I.) added five kills and seven digs while Diego Harrington (North Kingstown, R.I.) provided ten digs.
