THE LEAD:
Emerson College got 10 kills apiece from Parker Gray and Samuel Willinger and the visiting Lions stopped Dean College, 3-1, to sweep the season series in non-league men's volleyball action on Tuesday evening.

The win for Emerson is their second this season over the Bulldogs and evens their record at 3-3. Game scores were 25-12, 25-15, 22-25, 25-12.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
After falling behind 2-0, Dean took the third set – which was capped by an Aaron Brody (Webster, Mass.) service ace to seal the victory.

Undeterred, the Lions roared back in the final frame, cruising to a 25-12 win in the fourth and final set.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
John Kauffman (East Providence, R.I.) led Dean with eight kills, while Brody ended with six kills and seven digs. Jake Kelley (Westminster, Mass.) chipped in with four kills and Tyler Martins (East Providence, R.I.) dished out 20 assists.

Dean returns to action on Thursday when they host Regis College at 5:00 PM.
