THE LEAD:
The host Lions swept the season series with the Bulldogs, racing to a 3-0 win over Dean College in non-league men's volleyball action on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Mark Piorkowski registered a match-high 18 kills, while Samuel Willinger chipped in with nine of his own as the Lions hit an impressive .405 in a 3-0 win.

The two headed assist monster of Lucas Raagas (18) and Josh Eliot (18) combined for 36 helpers.

For the Bulldogs, John Kauffman (East Providence, R.I.) and Jaren Brooks (Odessa, Texas) had nine of Dean's 11 kills on the evening. Meanwhile, Chadd Pelletier (Westbrook, Maine) dished out ten assists.
