FRANKLIN, Mass. – College Sports Communicators, formerly CoSIDA, has announced that five Dean College softball players have earned spots on this year's Academic All-District© roster: Sydnee Ramos (New Bedford, Mass.), Xandra Silva (New Britain, Conn.), Emily Kilpatrick (Marion, Mass.), Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, N.Y.), and Bryce DeGasparre (Attleboro, Mass.).
Four of the five players earn their first career recognitions on the All-District roster, while Ramos picks up the second of her collegiate career.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests. Pitchers must make 17 appearances or pitch atleast 35 innings. A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
