Weston, MA- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced that Dean College golf freshman Case LaChance (Latham, NY) has earned Rookie of the Week honors.

LaChance is coming off one of the best matches of his young career. The first-year sensation ended this Saturday's Gordon College meet with a 75. His score was tied for the team lead and 4^th place overall in the match.

With a 75 in just his second career appearance, LaChance has already beat his previous best score by 13 strokes. He scored an 88 in the Mitchell College Invitational on September 10^th.

Prior to Dean, LaChance graduated from Shaker High School in his hometown of Latham. There, he played both golf and baseball. He is currently set to do the same at Dean.
