Wenham, MA- The Dean College golf team finished in 3rd place in their meet with Gordon College on Saturday. Their score of 305 was 20 strokes under combined par (325). Gordon College would win the meet with a combined score of 280.
How it Happened:
-Senior
Matt Brangiforte (Wrentham, MA) put up another strong performance, recording a 75. His score also beats his total of 78 from the Mitchell College Invitational. Meanwhile, freshman
Case LaChance (Latham, NY) tied Brangiforte with a 75 of his own. A strong afternoon for LaChance.
-Freshman
Troy Evans (Riverview, FL) finished two strokes behind the team lead with a 77.
Blake Deiter (Palmyra, PA) ended with a 78, and
Mark Monfreda (Millbury, MA) ended with a 79. Dawson Dibarri (Swampscott, MA) finished the day with an 86.
-Gordon's Ian Kennett took home the best score of the afternoon, shooting an outstanding 64 on 18-holes (-1 par). Two total players for Gordon shot under 70 during the meet.
