Chicopee, MA- The Dean College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Elms College Blazer Classic on Saturday afternoon. The women's team were unable to finish, while the men's team ended fifth of the six competing teams.

Top Finishers:
-Brandon Fitzsimmons (Chappaqua, NY) turned in the fastest time for the Bulldogs. The freshman ended with a time of 35:32.99, while was good to 29th place in the men's 8000-meter. 
-Gary Burgess (Middleboro, MA) finished two spots behind Fitzsimmons, coming back with a time of 37:05.55. Three other Dean runners finished with the top 40.
-Meanwhile, on the women's side, Katherine Moody (Charlestown, MA) was the fast runner for Dean. Her time of 41:46.00 finished in the top-50 of the race. 
-Isabella Nitschke (Watertown, MA) finished right behind Moody with a time of 41:49.44. Helen Sanford (Deerfield, MA) finished off the top-50 pack for Dean,
