Springfield, MA- The Dean College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed in the Western New England Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday morning. Both teams would finish within 19th place, with two runners finishing within the top 150.

Women's 6K (10:00AM):
-First-year Zoe Bordes would compete in her first race with the Bulldogs and take the team's top spot. She turned in a time of 31:44.37, finishing the race in 129th place. 
-Isabella Nitschke (Watertown, MA) would finish in 2nd for teh Bulldogs, clocking in a time of 38:39.80. She comes just one minute shy of her personal-best 35 minutes this season.
-Katerine Moody (Charlestown, MA) finished three seconds after Nitschke with a time of 39:42.52.
-Three other runners for the Bulldogs would finish in the race's top 175.

Men's 8K (11:00AM):
-Daniel Duggan (Walpole, MA) would be Dean's top finisher, clocking in a time of 32:34.81 and finishing in 139th place. His time is also a new personal-best on the season.
-Eidan Toppa (Framingham, MA) ended the race three minutes after Duggan. He turned in a time of 35:14.94 and finished in the top 175.
-Spencer Waite clocked in a time of 35:35.90, just 21 seconds behind Toppa. His season PR was good for 177th place in the race.
-Dean's remaining four runners (Rosner, Fowler, Ruderman, Fitzsimmons) all crossed the line within the race's top 210. 

Next Up:
-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Sunday, November 2nd (hosted by Norwich University). The Women's race will begin at 11:00AM, and the Men's race will begin at 12:00PM.
