NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Dean College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the first of two Mitchell College Invites on Friday afternoon. In the joint 4K race, the men's team finished first overall, while the women narrowly finished in second place.
How it Happened:
-First-year
Cayden Nodestine (Crownpoint, N.M.) finished with medalist honors on the men's side. He clocked a time of 16:06, beating the eleven other racers in the field.

Mosely Rowekamp (Denver, Col.) finished second on the team and fourth place overall. He produced a time of 19:18, just over three minutes behind Nodestine.
-All five men's runners finished within the race's top ten.
-On the women's side,
Sarah Berube (Warwick, R.I.) finished with the team's best time. Her finish of 23:11 was good for second place in the women's division.

Alanah Clark (Manchester, N.H.) finished with the team's second-best time, clocking in at 24:33.
-All five female runners also finished within the race's top ten.
