Dean College Names Sara Fallon as Head Softball Coach

For Immediate Release
4 August 2025

Franklin, MA –
The Dean College Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce the hiring of Sara Fallon as the new Head Softball Coach.

Fallon joins Bulldog Nation after two seasons with Regis College, where she served as Assistant Coach under Head Coach Carolyn Biel. During her tenure, Fallon helped guide the Pride to break the program record for most triples in a single season (21), while achieving a team batting average of .295. The team also ranked in the top 10 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in total hits (281), home runs (4), and stolen bases (39).

Before beginning her coaching career, Fallon was a standout player at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A four-year letterwinner as a corner infielder, she appeared in 62 games for the Mules, posting a .271 career batting average and recording 15 RBIs. She capped off her playing career in dominant fashion, going 4-for-7 with a triple, a home run, and six RBIs in a doubleheader against McDaniel College.

Fallon graduated from Muhlenberg in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in Africana studies. Originally from Wallingford, Connecticut, she brings to Dean a passion for player development and a commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
