Winthrop, MA- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced that Dean College softball player Ashley Lester (Blackstone, MA) has earned All-Sportsmanship honors. This is Lester first All-Conference selection of her career.

The first-year catcher slowly made progress throughout the 2025 campaign, earning five starts and nine total games played. In that span, Lester posted two hits, one extra-base hit, and two total RBIs. She also posted an impressive fielding percentage of .909 percent.

The Blackstone, Massachusetts native broke through during Dean's spring training game versus Brevard College of March 12^th. In that game, Lester went 2-4 at the plate, posting two RBIs and the double. She also scored one of Dean's five runs in the 5-4 victory.

To add to her progressing hitting statistics, Lester also put-away ten runners compared to just one error behind the dish.
