Weston, MA- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced that Dean College Field Hockey senior Sydnee Ramos (New Bedford, MA) has earned Offensive Player of the Week honors. Additionally, Men's Soccer senior Jake Godwin (Norwalk, CT) has been named the conference's Goalkeeper of the Week.

Ramos continues to add to the best stretch of her career. In two games this week, the senior posted seven goals, an assist, and fifteen total points. She also had 30 total shots, with 22 of them being on-goal.

She posted her first career "Double Brace" performance on October 1^st at Albertus Magnus College, scoring four consecutive goals. She also posted her third hat trick of the year last Saturday versus Regis College.

Ramos now has 40 points in the year, including 17 goals. She has nearly tripled her point total from last season (15).

Meanwhile, Jake Godwin recently finished a strong week in-goal for the Bulldogs. The senior made five saves and recorded the shutout victory on Friday versus Lasell University.

This is now the second straight shutout by Godwin. He also allowed zero goals in Dean's away contest at New England College on Saturday, September 27^th. Godwin made three saves in his performance that day.

In his career, Godwin holds a .704 save percentage with 202 career saves. He also holds eight wins and five draws under his belt.
