WINTHROP, Mass.- Dean College women's volleyball sophomore Chloe Demaio (Needham, Mass.) earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Third Team All-Conference honors, announced this week by the league office.

Demaio led the Bulldogs in blocks with 50, while also posting a team-leading .340 hitting percentage. Her 144 kills and 140 points were both second highest on the team.  In the conference, her .340 hitting percentage was good for sixth highest, while her solo blocks (30) were second best..

Demaio shined in a four set win over Elms in late October, recording a season-high ten kills to power the Bulldogs to a GNAC victory. In a crucial five-set win over New England College, she once again contributed ten kills. while also adding two blocks to help the Bulldogs to a 3-2 win over a conference rival.  Demaio saved her best outing for last, however, registering a season-high 13 points on nine kills and four total blocks in the GNAC Tournament Play-In Game against Colby-Sawyer. 

Dean finished the season with 11 wins, the most for the program since 2018. The Bulldogs made their first appearance in the GNAC post-season since joining the conference in 2021.
