Box Score 1 BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - March 17, 2022 - The Dean College softball team traveled to Bridgewater State to play a doubleheader. The Bears won game one 10-0 in five innings and were in front 12-2 in the fourth inning of game two before it was suspended. 

Dean goes to 1-6 and is scheduled to play at Mass. Maritime next Thursday. BSU improves to 5-3 and will play at Rhode Island College on Friday. 

GAME ONE - Bridgewater State 10, Dean 0

The home team scored twice in the first, erupted for seven runs in the second and added a single run in the fourth to earn the 10-0 win in five innings. 

Miranda Seacord and Gianna Bencivengo accounted for the two Dean hits in the game. Seacord added a pair of stolen bases. 

Avellaka Arviso took the loss after surrendering six earned runs in the first three innings, while Meredith Landers threw one inning of relief and gave up one run on one hit. Madelyn Klingel earned the 5-inning shutout with two hits allowed and four walks.
