FRANKLIN, Mass. – July 16, 2021– Dean College baseball head coach Ernie May has announced the addition of recent graduate Jeff Sharnick '21 to the coaching staff as an assistant.

Sharnick graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management, with a minor in Psychology.

Sharnick was a three-year captain and was selected to the 2019 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All-Conference Second Team. He was also awarded several academic achievements during his career, including graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA during his four years at Dean. He was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team in 2021. 

Sharnick will assist in all aspects of the program including hitting and fielding development, practice construction and recruiting.

His previous experience features coaching Baseball U Connecticut, an elite college development summer program, where his work focused on the development of defensive skills with the catchers.
