BOSTON, Mass. – April 3, 2021– The Dean College women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-4 road game at Simmons on Saturday afternoon.

Simmons goes to 1-0, while the Bulldogs drop to 0-2. Dean is scheduled to host Lasell on Sunday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m.

Sophomore Maire Brown (Huntington, N.Y.) scored all four of the goals for the Bulldogs. She added a game best five draw controls. Sophomore Jasmine Sztyler-Magee (Burlington, Conn.) and senior Shania Springer (Bay Shore, N.Y.) each collected three ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Simmons received five goals from Molly Reinhold. Samantha Hogan contributed four goals and three assists.

Dean sophomore goalie Jada Fields (Acushnet, Mass.) had nine saves. Nicole Elliott and Erin McIntyre played 30 minutes apiece and each made three saves in the win.
