NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The players hit home runs in the Dean College baseball team's 15-5 victory during game two of their doubleheader with Albertus Magnus College. The team split the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) series and moved to 15-11 (7-7 GNAC). Meanwhile, the Falcons shifted to 11-17 (5-11 GNAC).
GAME ONE: Albertus Magnus College 9, Dean College 0

How it Happened
-Dean threatened early in the first inning.
Tyler Giambra (Prospect, Conn.) singled and stole second to move into scoring position, but the Bulldogs were unable to bring him home.
-Both teams remained scoreless through the first two innings, with Brazeau working efficiently on the mound and keeping Albertus Magnus off the board early.
-Albertus Magnus broke through in the third inning, capitalizing on a pair of baserunners before a three-run home run gave the Falcons a 3–0 lead.
-The Bulldogs continued to battle offensively, with
Gavin Goss (Glenwood Landing, N.Y.) collecting multiple hits and
Justin Horton (Trumbull, Conn.) and
Case LaChance (Latham, N.Y.) each adding base knocks to generate traffic.
-Dean had opportunities in the middle innings, putting runners on base, but were unable to come up with the timely hit to cut into the deficit.
-Albertus Magnus extended its lead in the fifth inning, using a combination of hits and timely power to plate six runs and break the game open at 9–0.
-Despite the deficit, Brazeau continued to compete on the mound, finishing with seven strikeouts over six innings while working through multiple tough innings.
-Dean continued to fight in the late innings, drawing walks and putting runners aboard, but the Falcons' pitching staff held the Bulldogs scoreless to close out the game.
GAME TWO: Dean College 15, Albertus Magnus College 5

How it Happened
-After Albertus held a 3-0 lead after three, Dean broke through in the fourth inning, stringing together a big rally to score three runs. LaChance delivered an RBI single, Giambra added a sacrifice fly, and
Colin Favata (Syosset, N.Y.) followed with an RBI knock to even the game at 3–3.
-The Bulldogs took their first lead in the fifth inning.
Owen Critchley (Dayton, Maine) executed a steal of home to give Dean a 4–3 advantage and shift momentum.
-Dean continued to apply pressure in the seventh inning, with
Nick Amendolara (Bayville, N.Y.) doubling to set the table before Horton delivered an RBI single to extend the lead to 7–3.
-The Bulldogs added to their cushion in the eighth inning, as Giambra launched a solo home run to left-center, followed by a Favata solo shot to make it 9–3.
-Dean put the game out of reach in a dominant ninth inning, erupting for six runs. Giambra came through with a two-RBI double,
Jacob Paschetto (East Longmeadow, Mass.) added a two-run single, and Critchley capped the rally with a two-RBI hit to extend the lead to 15–3.
-On the mound, the Bulldogs worked through early pressure before settling in, limiting Albertus Magnus after the middle innings to maintain control.
-Albertus Magnus added a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth, but Dean's lead proved too much to overcome. The Bulldogs closed out the 15–5 victory and split the conference series.
