FRANKLIN, Mass. – The Dean College baseball team fell to Lesley University on Thursday afternoon by a final score of 15-9. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 14-10 on the year, while the Lynx advance to 8-14.

How it Happened:
-Lesley got on the board first with a double from Grant Bazinet, which led to Andres Moreno scoring. They continued to produce a five-run opening frame, heading into the bottom half with a strong cushion.
-Dean got on the board in the 1
st inning with a
Tyler Giambra (Prospect, Conn.) home run, his first of the season.
Jacob Paschetto (East Longmeadow, MA.) also hit a double, which led to
Colin Favata (Syosset, NY.) rounding third to score. Dean's pair of runs cut into the Lesley deficit.
-Lesley continued scoring in the 2
nd inning with a single by Gerlys Martinez, which led to Andres Moreno and Logan Shudy scoring. Both runs were unearned.
- Favata singled in the 2
nd, allowing Case Lachance (Latham, NY.) to score. Paschetto singled in the same inning, bringing in another pair of runs.
-The Lynx continued to score in both the 4
th and 5
th innings while the Bulldogs continued to trail.
-Starting in the 7
th, Lesley and Dean continued to score back and forth into the 9
th inning while Dean trailed each time.
-In the 9
th inning, Grant Bazinet hit the team's second home run, bringing in two RBIs.
-In the bottom of the ninth, Paschetto entered the batter's box and laced a solo home run. His second shot of the week gave Dean its ninth run. However, the Bulldogs were unable to generate further scoring, falling to Lesley by a final score of 15-9.
