Men’s Volleyball Taken Down by Emmanuel in Evening GNAC Matchup, 3-0

FRANKLIN, Mass. – The Dean College men's volleyball team was defeated in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play by Emmanuel College (Mass.) on Thursday evening by a final score of 3-0. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 5-11 (0-2 GNAC), while the Saints improve to 8-9 (2-1 GNAC).

How it Happened:
-Emmanuel jumped out to an early advantage in the opening set, but the Bulldogs responded behind a pair of early kills from Noah Allan (Windham, N.H.), helping Dean keep the score close in the opening points.
-Arthur Felicio (Saugus, Brazil) contributed offensively and from the service line during the early portion of the set, while Hunter Armitage (Westerly, R.I.) distributed the offense with several assists to keep the Bulldogs in rhythm.
-The Saints created separation midway through the set with a scoring run, eventually taking the 25–17 win to claim the opening frame.
-Dean looked to regroup in the second set, with Allan again leading the attack and Felicio adding a key kill during the early exchanges.
-Armitage continued to direct the Bulldogs' offense, connecting with multiple hitters to generate scoring opportunities.
-Emmanuel gained momentum late in the set with a series of well-timed attacks, pulling away for a 25–15 victory and a 2–0 match lead.
-The Bulldogs showed defensive effort in the third set, highlighted by several digs from Mason Rua (São Pedro do Sul, Portugal) that helped extend rallies.
-Dean continued to battle offensively behind kills from Allan and Felicio, but Emmanuel maintained control late in the set.
-The Saints closed out the match with a 25–16 win in the third set, securing the straight-set sweep.
