Franklin, MA- The Dean College men's soccer team fell in the final minutes of their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest with Rivier University on Saturday. With the loss, Dean moves to 2-4-2 (1-2-0) while the Raiders advance to 1-3-3 (1-1-1).
How it Happened:

Ethan Henderson (Hartlepool, England) and
Clay Tyler (Attleboro, MA)Â would reach record shots.
Felipe Castillo (Tampa, FL) would. also record a header of his own.
-After continuously applying pressure, combined with strong defense, the Bulldogs finally tied the game.
Cole Ripley (Orlando, FL) netted Dean's first of the game, assisted by
Nate Beturne (Ellington, CT).
-Dean would get two shots to open the second half, starting right where the left. However, Rivier would find their footing and add pressure on the other side. For three minutes, the Raiders had six opportunities near the goal, including three different corner kicks. However, goalkeeper
Noah Amaral (Westport, MA) stood tall.
-The match would continue at a standstill until the final moments. In the 85th minute, Rivier's Drew Sacca scored the game-winning goal, eventually securing the 2-1 conference victory.Â
