South Hadley, MA- The Dean College field hockey team fell in their Thursday contest with Mount Holyoke College by a final score of 0-4. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 3-2 on the season, while Mount Holyoke moves to 1-3.

How it Happened:
- The Lyons wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. In the first five minutes of the game, Diane Lee made it 1-0. The rebound goal was Lee's second of the season. 
-It wouldn't be until the 37th minute that the Lyons would score again, advancing the lead to 2-0. Then, just over a minute later, they pounced again, stunning Dean to make it 3-0.
-With five minutes remaining in the game, Mount Holyoke would get their final goal from Sara Ford. The 4-0 advantage would hold, with the Lyons walking away victorious for the first time this season. 
- The Bulldogs did have some bright spots in the defeat. Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, NY) recorded three of Dean's six shots on the night. Goalkeeper Sara Gardner (Hampstead, MD) also recorded 14 saves in the game.
