The Bulldogs wasted no time asserting control, scoring eight unanswered goals in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Dean continued their offensive onslaught with three more goals, including a free-position goal by Peterson and a goal from Caroline Ramsey (Shreveport, LA). The Bulldogs' defense remained impenetrable, preventing Albertus Magnus from scoring and maintaining a commanding 11-0 lead at halftime. Goalkeeper Shea Cassani (Belgrade, ME) played a pivotal role, recording multiple saves and contributing to the team's defensive prowess.

The third quarter saw Albertus Magnus finally get on the scoreboard with a goal from Alexys Signor. Dean responded swiftly, with Peterson scoring her fifth goal of the game and Mock adding another, extending the Bulldogs' lead to 13-1. The Bulldogs' offense remained relentless, and their defense continued to stifle any attempts by Albertus Magnus to gain momentum.

In the final quarter, Dean added four more goals to their tally, including contributions from Emma Mock (Tunkhannock, PA), Stockwell, and Caldeira. Aline Flores (Central Falls, RI) also scored the first goal of her career during this stretch. Albertus Magnus managed one more goal from Moira O'Brien, but it was not enough to close the gap.
