Franklin, MA – The Dean College football team has announced their 2025 schedule and inaugural slate of games in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC).
There is plenty of excitement around the football program heading into the fall. Most importantly, the program will be led by new Head Coach
Luke Bakanowsky. Coach Bakanowsky brings a wealth of experience from various institutions as he looks to build a new era of Dean Football. He is currently joined by Assistant Coaches
Nick Crowley and
Dan McKenna. Crowley will oversee the defense, while McKenna will spearhead Dean's special teams.
The Bulldogs are entering their first official season as a member of the MASCAC for football. Over the course of the season, Dean will play nine in-conference opponents and just one non-conference opponent (Curry College, 9/27). Dean will open their season on the road versus Fitchburg State University on September 6
th. This is the sixth consecutive year that Dean has been scheduled to play FSU in the season-opener.
Dean will play their first game at Dale Lippert Field on September 13
th, hosting Massachusetts Maritime Academy in another conference showdown. Homecoming for the Bulldogs is currently slated for October 4
th, as the team hosts Plymouth State University.
Dean's final home game, as well as their senior day, is scheduled for Saturday, November 1
st versus the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs. They close the regular season on the road versus Anna Maria College on November 15
th.
