Northfield, VT- The Dean College Women's Soccer team fell in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Friday evening, losing to Norwich by a score of 0-6. With the loss, Dean now drops to 2-11-1 (1-7-1 GNAC), while the Cadets improve to 5-5-3 (3-4-2 GNAC).

How it Happened:
-Norwich would open the scoring in the fifth minute. Jasmine Hackman would score her third of the year, assisted by Lilly Briggs and Maddy Perry, to give the Cadets an early 1-0 advantage. 
-Less than four minutes later, they would strike again. Hackman scored her second of the match, assisted by Perry & Heidi Smith. Norwich now led 2-0.
-Norwich scored their third goal halfway through the eleventh minute. This time, Briggs would get on the board. Hackman would also pick up her fifth point of the match here.
-The Bulldogs continued to play strong defense on their side of the field, keeping Norwich around the perimeter. Goalkeeper Lexi Gerow (Pownal, VT) also made several saves to keep the score at-bay. However, the Cadets would score two more times before the end of the half, making it 5-0.
-Dean would gain some life in the beginning parts of the second half. To start, Danielle Reinhard (Las Vegas, NV) would take over in goal. The Bulldogs would then have three different corner kick opportunities, each within about 30 seconds of each other. However, they came up short, keeping the score the same.
-Norwich would score one more time in the second half, courtesy of Kat Probst. Her unassisted goal would seal the match for the Cadets by a final score of 6-0.

-Reinhard (1 GA, 45:00 Minutes Played)
