Fitchburg, MA- The Dean College Women's Volleyball team was bested by Fitchburg State University on Thursday evening by a final score of 0-3. With the loss, Dean now falls to 1-11 (0-5 GNAC), while the Falcons pick up their first win of the season (1-15 (0-2 MASCAC)).

Seymour would drop-in another kill, followed by three straight service aces. After Seymour's efforts, the difference was just three points.
-Dean continued to fight back, scoring a kill from Caitlin Cooper (Amherst, NH) and service ace from Skylar Raskevitz (Easthampton, MA). Eventually, the Bulldogs made it just a one point set, 24-23. However, with the set on th line, a costly service error gave Fitchburg the set win, 25-23.
-Fitchburg would go on to win set two by a score of 25-19. Dean would record 12 errors in the set, but didn't go down without a fight. The Bulldogs also scored 11 total kills, including three more from Seymour and several from Valeria Cabezas (Nevarre, FL).
-Down 0-2 now in the match, the Bulldogs came out swinging in the third set. They forced an error to open the set, followed by yet another kill by Seymour. The Bulldogs went on a run, eventually extending their set lead to 12-6. However, errors continued to haunt the Bulldogs, as Fitchburg clawed their way back and took the lead.
