Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Women's Volleyball Dropped in Three by Fisher, 0-3

Franklin, MA- The Dean College Women's Volleyball Team was swept by Fisher College on Wednesday evening by a final score of 0-3. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 1-8 (0-3 GNAC) on the season, while the Falcons move to 11-3.

How it Happened:
-The Bulldogs would be the first to get on the board with a kill by Maddy Seymour (Simsbury, CT). An attack would also give Dean a quick 2-0 advantage. However, the Falcons would quickly make the ground, snagging a kill and service ace of their own.
-Both sides would continue to trade momentum in the first set. In fact, each side would not have a lead higher than three points until the very end of the set. Fisher would go on a 6-0 run in the back half, eventually securing the set on an error.
-Dean would once strike first in the second set, securing a kill from Chloe Demaio (Needham, MA). The Bulldogs would also play strong offense, generating multiple points from Fisher errors. However, Fisher continued to claw back, forcing Deja Vu from set one. The set continued in a stalemate until the 27th point. Fisher would once again go on a run, scoring seven straight points to put them within position. The Bulldogs would mount a small comeback on two consecutive kills, but it came up short. Fisher would win set two by a score of 25-16.
-Fisher would get the first point of set three from a bad set. Despite this, Dean would fight back and score six straight points. Seymour would get a kill and two service aces, followed by consecutive errors by the Falcons. However, just as the previous two sets finished, set three would end in the same. Fisher would rally to win the final set by a score of 25-17 and the match 3-0.

-Seymour (6 Kills, 19 Total Attempts, 4 Service Aces)
-Demaio (4 Kills, 18 Total Attempts)
