New Haven, CT- The Dean College Field Hockey team dominated in their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest with Albertus Magnus College, winning 7-0. With the win, Dean now moves to 7-6 (3-1 GNAC), while the Falcons drop to 0-9 (0-5 GNAC).

How it Happened:
-The Bulldogs wasted no time getting on the board, scoring less than eight minutes into the game. Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, NY) handled business as usual, scoring an unassisted goal up front. Dean held an early 1-0 advantage. 
-Dean would add three more to their scoring efforts in the second quarter. Katrina Lee (Brookline, NH) would get on the board, followed by back-to-back goals from senior Sydnee Ramos (New Bedford, MA). By the end of the half, Dean quickly had a 4-0 lead.
-Ramos would get herself on the board again in the third, scoring in the 37th minute. Her effort would be the only goal of the quarter, accompanied by a barrage of penalty corner chances. 
-Dean would score two more goals in the final quarter. Ramos would add her fourth goal of the game, capping off an impressive double-brace performance. Emily Kilpatrick (Marion, MA) would also score her first of the game. Dean would win the contest by a final score of 7-0.
-The most impressive part of Dean's performance was their defense. For the first time this season, Dean limited their opponent to zero total shots. Sara Gardner (Hampstead, MD) and Allie Stockwell (Burrillville, RI) had a quite day in-goal.
