FRANKLIN, Mass.- The Dean College Bulldogs men's basketball team dropped a tightly contested matchup with Albertus Magnus College on Tuesday, falling 69-57 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action. Dean falls to 9-3 overall (1-1 GNAC) while Albertus improves to 6-7 (2-0 GNAC).
The Bulldogs trailed by ten, 37-27, at the half. Dean cut the lead to seven points three separate times in the middle of the second half, but could get no closer. The Falcons outscored Dean 32-30 over the span of the second half to capture the 12 point victory.
Sophomore
Frankie Idlett (Miami, Fla.) led the Bulldogs with 18 points.
Billy Ray Barnes III (Inglewood, Calif.) scored ten points while adding eight rebounds, while
Ja'maine Davenport (Mays Landing, N.J.) came off the bench to score eight and grab nine boards.
Dean is back in action on Saturday when they host Elms at 3:00 in GNAC action.
