BOSTON, MASS.- The Dean College Bulldogs fell to Emmanuel College on Saturday, 5-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action in Boston, Mass. Dean drops to 1-5-1 (0-4-1 GNAC) with the loss, while Emmanuel continues their torrid pace, improving to 6-0-1 (4-0-1 GNAC). 

Emmanuel controlled the action from the outset, outshooting the Bulldogs 8-0 in the opening half. Timely goaltending and strong defense kept the score close through the first half, however, as despite the onslaught of shots, the Saints were only able to break through for one goal, a strike from Libby Tennant in the 11th minute. 

The hosts kicked it into another gear in the second half erupting for 32 shots and four goals, two off the foot of sharpshooter Sara Dullaghan, her 11tth and 12th goals of the season. Despite the difficult assignment, senior goalkeeper Haley Gaunt (Johnston, R.I.) shined for Dean, making 15 saves, her second highest total on the season, including 13 in the second half. 

Emmanuel outshot Dean 32-0 for the game and held a 10-0 edge in corner kicks. 

The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Mitchell College for another GNAC contest at 2:00 p.m.
