FRANKLIN, Mass.- Senior goalkeeper
Haley Gaunt (Johnston, R.I.) made ten stops and pitched a shutout, preserving a 0-0 tie with Simmons University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer action on Saturday.
Dean moves to 2-7-2 (1-6-2 GNAC) with the tie, while Simmons slides to 1-6-2 (1-4-1 GNAC). Both teams threatened throughout the game but neither could break through the defense and goalkeeping of the opposing squad.
Dean's offense was led by first-year
Alyssa Caney (Holyoke, Mass.), who finished with two shots on goal. Senior
Lissette Ayala (Chicopee, Mass.) also added two shots, with one on goal.
Before the game, Dean College honored its seniors for their years of hardwork and dedication the the program. The seniors honored during this year's senior day ceremony were captain
