FRANKLIN, Mass. – April 5, 2023 - Senior Brayden McLaughlin (Forest Grove, Ore.) singled up the middle to bring home first-year Nick Amendolara (Bayville, N.Y.) with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th to give Dean a 6-5 victory over Lesley.

Dean (2-17) is scheduled to play at Curry tomorrow at 3 p.m. Lesley (8-10) hosts Emerson tomorrow at 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs got on the board in the first when first-year Jacob Paschetto (East Longmeadow, Mass.) scored on an error.

Lesley tied things in the fourth on a sac fly.

Dean took a 3-1 lead in the fifth on a bases loaded walk and a double play that scored a run.

The Lynx then plated four runs on three hits and an error in the sixth to go in front 5-3. James Brandon (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) knocked in a pair with a single to center.

Senior Brian Dovidio (Ramsey, N.J.) got a run back for the Bulldogs with an RBI single in the bottom half of the sixth.

First-year Gavin Goss (Glenwood Landing, N.Y.) led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk. Trent Bender (Binghamton, N.Y.) pinch ran and advanced all the way to third on a wild pitch. Sophomore Seth Cruz (East Freetown, Mass.) then delivered the game-tying run with a ground out to second.

In the bottom of the 11th and after the first two batters were out, Amendolara doubled to left field. McLaughlin then singled him in for the 6-5 walk off victory.

First-year Jared Dussman (Maplewood, N.J.) earned the win after pitching a clean 11th inning.

Amendolara went 4 for 6, while Dovidio finished 3 for 5 to account for seven of Dean's 11 hits in the game.
