FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – April 10, 2023 – The Dean College baseball team dropped a non-conference game to Framingham State, 26-3, on Monday afternoon.
Dean (4-19) will host MCLA tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs plated a pair in their first at-bat when senior
Brian Dovidio (Ramsey, N.J.) came home on a double steal and first-year
Tyler Giambra (Prospect, Conn.) doubled in first-year
Gavin Goss (Glenwood Landing, N.Y.).
Framingham's bats took over from there, scoring once in the second, 10 in the third, two in the fifth, seven in the sixth, two in the seventh and four in the eighth.
Dean did score a third run in the ninth on a
Marcus Baker (Franklin, Mass.) RBI double that brought in first-year
Nick Amendolara (Bayville, N.Y.).
Dovidio finished 2 for 5, while eight other players had one hit.
