FRANKLIN, Mass. – November 1, 2023 – The Dean College women's volleyball team defeated Anna Maria, 3-1, by scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-21 and 25-17 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest Wednesday evening.

Dean (8-21, 3-10 GNAC) will conclude the regular season on Saturday with a GNAC home tri-match against Lasell and Norwich. Anna Maria (4-24, 0-13 GNAC) travels to Rivier for a Saturday tri-match against the Raiders and Elms.  

Junior Emily Larouche (Agawam, Mass.) led the Bulldogs with 11 kills to go with 12 digs. Senior Sari Albury (Nassau, Bahamas) compiled nine kills with no errors to hit .500. She added three aces. First-year Chloe DeMaio (Medfield, Mass.) also hit .500 with eight kills and five blocks. Sophomore Skylar Raskevitz (Easthampton, Mass.) led Dean's backline with 22 digs. Senior Bella Driscoll (Plymouth, Mass.) tallied 35 assists and four aces.

Anna Maria was led by graduate Shea Savoie (Namao, Alberta). She posted a match best 13 kills to go with 13 digs. Senior Sarah Burt (Plymouth, Mass.) finished with nine kills, 16 digs and three aces. Senior setter Julia Tarantino (Pembroke, Mass.) registered 35 assists and 12 digs. Graduate Serena Dennis (Holyoke, Mass.) picked up a match-high 23 digs.
