BRIGHTON, Mass. – October 4, 2023 – The Dean College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie at Simmons on Wednesday night in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest.  

Dean (4-5-2, 3-4-2 GNAC), who picked up a point with tonight's draw, currently sits in a tie for ninth place with 11 points. The Bulldogs will play at Albertus Magnus on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Simmons (0-9-2, 0-7-2 GNAC) travels to Saint Joseph's (ME) on Saturday.  

Senior Jazzy Sztyler-Magee (Burlington, Conn.), junior Lisette Ayala (Chicopee, Mass.) and first-year Kacie Consolini (Stafford Springs, Conn.) each took a pair of shots to lead the Dean attackers.

Junior goalie Haley Gaunt (Johnston, R.I.) earned her fourth shutout of the season with eight saves for the Bulldogs. Julia Rodgers made one save for Simmons.

The Sharks outshot Dean 20-8 and had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
